The contract, awarded to ALK in June 2003 by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), calls for the industry-standard PC*MILER®|HazMat solution to serve as the routing and mapping engine for the Internet-based service sponsored by the agency. The NHMRR is the official repository of State and Indian tribe hazardous material routing designations.
