Once your 30 day free trial has expired you will need to purchase a 30 day or 12 month license to continue using CoPilot Live's full-featured voice-guided GPS navigation. You can do this by selecting "Upgrade to Full Navigation Features" from the main welcome screen within CoPilot Live Directions or by selecting Menu > CoPilot Store > CoPilot Live Navigation. A 30 day subscription costs $2.99 and a 12 month subscription costs $19.99.

If you choose not to upgrade to full navigation features after your 30 day trial, you can still use basic features within CoPilot Live Directions for free. This provides you with map-based, door-to-door turn directions, but not voice directions or CoPilot Live's other premium navigation features such as 3D map displays and comprehensive trip planning.
Yes, CoPilot Live Directions customers can take advantage of the free MapSure map updates service. The service includes monthly map improvement downloads which can be accessed by selecting Menu > Updates. You can also access free quarterly map updates by re-downloading your required map areas to CoPilot Live Directions.
You can report changes and improvements to the road network by visiting www.alk.com/maps. ALK aims to process and verify your report and provide it via a monthly download to all users within 45 days.
You can download as little or as much of the North America road network as you wish. You can download all of North America for seamless GPS navigation throughout USA or Canada, or simply download individual states, cities or regions. Please note that all maps should be downloaded via WiFi.
Live Traffic is only available for purchase in CoPilot Live Directions when you upgrade to a full navigation subscription. Once you upgrade to a full navigation subscription--either 12 months or 30 days--you can purchase Live Traffic for $4.99 for 30 days. Live Fuel Prices and Live Local Search are available in the 30 day free trial of the full-featured CoPilot Live and are included in the subscription when you upgrade.
Voice-guided directions are only available during the 30 day free trial. Once your trial expires you can continue to use the voice-guidance feature by upgrading to a 30 day or 12 month subscription.
If a menu option is disabled it is not available in the basic free version. Please note the 30 day trial allows you to use all of the menu features. To use these features after your 30 day trial expires, you will need to upgrade to a full navigation subscription.
