Automatic GPS setup.
Whether your laptop has built-in GPS or you need to use an external Bluetooth or USB GPS receiver. Simply select 'GPS setup' and CoPilot Truck will do the rest.

CoPilot Tuck 11 is supplied on a DVD and installs right on your laptop. There's no need to download maps in order to start driving.

New user interface. With its redesigned user interface and clear menus, CoPilot Truck is incredible easy to use.

A series of hints, tips and tutorials in CoPilot Truck will help explain the basics, and a comprehensive user manual can be found on your laptop after you install the program.

The primary job of a GPS navigation system is to guide you where you need to go. CoPilot Truck 11 makes it easy with step by step address entry and predictive searching. Destination entry options are:

	Address. Enter an exact street address with city, state or zip code.
	Points of interest. CoPilot Truck 11 is packed full of useful locations such as truck stops, rest areas, weigh stations and many more.
	Home. You can program your home address into CoPilot Truck, making it easy to get back home at the touch of a button.
	Work. You can program your work address to get back to base easily.
	Favorite. Save your most frequently visited locations.
	Recent. CoPilot keeps track of 50 places you've been before.
	Contact. Select and address from your contact database just by selecting a name.
	Pick on the map. Not sure of your exact address? Simply pin point anywhere on the map. CoPilot Truck will take you right to that location.
	Intersection. Find the way to a crossroads.
	Saved Trip. Open a trip already created.
	Coordinates. Enter latitude-longitude coordinates for the ultimate in precision destination entry.
Once you have entered in your destination(s), CoPilot Truck 11's new route preview feature shows you a simulation of the entire trip in advance!

Once you have hit the road, CoPilot Truck will guide you to your destination with spoken dock-to-dock directions all the way to the door. CoPilot Truck offers multiple map view options and a 'Driver Safety' display.

At the touch of a button you can change the display to:

	3D. A bird's eye view perspective of the road ahead, complete with on-road turn arrow and 3D Points of Interest icons.
	Where Am I? - a 2D view of the road showing your location at the zoom level of your choice
	Next turn - a 2D map showing where you are and your next turn with the map progressively zooming closer to the turn
	Destination - a 2D map showing the entire route to your destination
	Itinerary - view the turn by turn directions for your trip
	Safety - displays at-a-glance text instructions and a large arrow of your next turn.

You can also manually or automatically switch between day and low-glare night map view to match the time of your trip.

CoPilot Truck is designed to help you keep your eyes on the road, not on-screen. Our 'Driver Safety' mode only shows you a map when you need to make a turn. Once you get within a mile of a turn, the map appears, progressively zooming-in before returning to the safety screen.

You can adjust the Driver Safety settings in CoPilot Truck 11 to suit your preferences, for example a 2D or 3D map or how close to a turn you want a map to be displayed. You can even choose never to display a map, and rely on CoPilot's spoken directions at each turn.

CoPilot Truck includes millions of Points of Interest with phone numbers where available.

Finding the nearest fuel location, rest area or weigh station is made easy using the 'Find nearby POI' button from the main menu, or by enabling POI notification.

POIs are displayed in CoPilot Truck both in 2D or 3D map views. If you have a cell phone with you, select details for the POI and call it directly.

CoPilot Truck is a 'connected' navigation system to provide you — and others — with real-time Live location-specific information about your trip

	CoPilot Truck Traffic — The optional traffic service can detect and warn you about congestion on your route. You can choose to avoid or ignore each incident manually or automatically. You can also check for traffic incidents in other places — just enter the town or city name.
	Live location tracking on the Internet — CoPilot Truck can use the mobile Internet to help you keep in touch with others when you are on the move. You can send tracking invite e-mails from within CoPilot to let friends, family or colleagues view your location live on an Internet map. They can even send you instant messages and new destinations!
