Application

Truck-specific, turn-by-turn street-level directions, mileage and maps for dispatch, rate determination and quotes, trip cost and time estimates, dispatch, driver pay, fuel tax reporting, driver log auditing, load planning, carrier selection, freight bill auditing and logistics analysis.

 

  • Nationwide U.S. and Canadian truck-specific street-level data that includes street level roads and addresses.
  • NEW! Light vehicle routing with custom dimensions. Enter vehicle dimensions for Height, Length, Width and Weight to ensure that the most optimal route is calculated.
  • ENHANCED! 13'6" height, 80,000 lb weight, 48' and 53'/102" length, and 96" width restrictions. These restrictions include everything from bridge heights and clearances, load limits, one-way road designations, left-hand and dangerous turn restrictions, urban road classifications, as well as truck-restricted, truck-designated and truck-prohibited roads.
  • Generate routes based on Practical or Shortest routing parameters or further classify the route with Toll Discouraged, National Network, 53'/102" Trailer or Hazardous Materials Routing.
  • Generate truck-specific driving directions and state/county mileage summaries that include road clearance warnings and other truck restrictions within the turn-by-turn directions.
  • Import pickup, delivery or company specific locations to eliminate manual trip entry.
  • Customize routes by avoiding or favoring road segments, entire roads or even an entire jurisdiction per your specifications. Use this feature to navigate around construction or accidents, set seasonal routing preferences, and cater to driver/fleet preferences.
  • Calculate stop costs and driver break options for more accurate costs, travel and arrival times, and hours of service compliance.
  • Use the Location Radius tool for rate determination and operation planning and search for all locations in the database within a specified mileage radius around any location.
  • Access U.S. ZIP Codes, Canadian Postal Codes, military installations, truck stops and state weigh stations. (Applicable Add-On Data purchases required.)
  • Generate distances in Hub Mode to calculate routes and mileage from one origin to unlimited destinations.
  • Calculate truck-specific toll costs by weight and axle for cash or discount toll program transactions for U.S. and Canadian based lanes. Data includes range (ticket) and barrier (coin drop) data for nationwide toll authorities. (PC*MILER|Tolls purchase required.)
  • Hazardous materials routing and map database includes restrictions and designations in the U.S. and Canada for compliance with nationwide rules and regulations. (PC*MILER|HazMat purchase required.)
