ALK is a leader in state of the art transportation map data. Out map data files are updated with the following sources:


U.S. Census TIGER files that include new road construction and address information.
Direct feedback from ALK customers, state auditors, DOT professionals, and various other governmental departments.
Historical truck traffic flows, GPS sightings and aerial photographs allows us to geographically align the routing database to GPS standards.
Various data sources that include 13'6" height, 80,000 lb weight, 48' and 53'/102" length, and 96" width restrictions including: one way road restrictions, truck designated and truck prohibited routes.
