ALK Announces CSC Integration

ALK|FleetSuite Tolls Now Integrated with CSC’s Freight-Link Software

PRINCETON, NJ – SEPTEMBER 25, 2006 - ALK Technologies, Inc. today announced a partnership with CSC, which has integrated ALK®|FleetSuite Tolls into its Freight-Link™ Transportation Management System for fleets. ALK|FleetSuite Tolls enables transportation and logistics companies to enhance toll calculation, collection and reconciliation.

CSC’s Freight-Link provides comprehensive operations and accounting functionality for companies that offer a variety of transportation services including truckload, less-then-truckload, intermodal and brokerage. ALK is the leading developer of profit-driving routing, mileage and mapping software, including industry standard PC*MILER® and the family of ALK|FleetSuite solutions used by the most efficient and profitable fleets.

Integration of ALK|FleetSuite Tolls with Freight-Link will provide CSC clients with finger-tip access to accurate truck toll costs for accounting and billing. More importantly, tolls can easily be part of critical decisions on bids and lane analysis.

“ALK|FleetSuite Tolls is used extensively by carriers and shippers in high density toll areas such as the Northeast. Integration of this valuable resource into a comprehensive business system such as Freight-Link enhances the potential for profitability,” stated Ed Siciliano, vice president, sales and marketing at ALK Technologies. “CSC customers can now have control of tolls. They will be able to quickly and precisely price lanes and accurately reimburse drivers for toll expenses, something that will prove a genuine competitive advantage, particularly as toll facilities proliferate as seems to be the case.”

“At CSC, we listen to our customers and we find they are concerned with the rising cost of tolls. It’s something we wanted to address and now we have,” said Brian Ellis, president of CSC. “Pricing bids properly and automatically adding toll charges to invoices will improve our customers' bottom line.”

ALK|FleetSuite Tolls is maintained on a real-time basis and customers receive frequent updates. The software incorporates data from nearly 1,000 toll plazas in over 32 states, 101 toll authorities and 232 toll roads, bridges and tunnels. ALK|FleetSuite Tolls module supports discount toll programs, including Cruise Card, EXpressToll, EZ Tag, E-ZPass, FAST LANE, FasTrak, I-PASS, K-TAG, M-TAG, NH Tokens, Palmetto Pass, PikePass, Ready Toll, Smart Tag, SunPass, TollTag, and Transpass. This unique exact toll cost calculation tool is seamlessly connected to ALK’s PC*MILER routing, mileage and mapping software.
