CoPilot® Live™ iPhone GPS App Gets Another Free Update
Second free update in two weeks brings Text to Speech (TTS) voice directions, iPhone keyboard and monthly MapSure™ in-app map maintenance downloads
Princeton, New Jersey – September 30, 2009 – ALK Technologies, Inc. today announced the second update in as many weeks for its CoPilot Live iPhone GPS navigation app. The update adds new features that further enhance the iPhone navigation experience, including detailed Text to Speech voice directions, free in-app monthly map maintenance downloads and the ability to use the iPhone's native keyboard throughout the app.
New in the latest update:
- Text to Speech voice directions - A great new feature that provides full spoken street names: for example 'just ahead turn right on Main Street' rather than 'Just ahead turn left'.
- iPhone keyboard - The most requested feature from CoPilot Live iPhone customers so far. You can now use the iPhone's own keyboard to enter destinations and other text.
- Monthly MapSure™ downloads - Users can download free monthly MapSure community-reported map improvements and fixes at the press of a button in CoPilot on iPhone. Map improvements reported by customers will be distributed via a download within 45 days.
- Additional stability enhancements and improved Address Book integration.
