2. Can I use a different GPS unit with the CoPilot 2001. If not so why?
- We have thoroughly tested the GPS unit and software together and understand how they interface. There are many types of GPS units on the market and we could not possibly predict how the software would interface with all of the GPS units available. Therefore, if there was a problem with another manufacturer's GPS unit, we would not be able to solve the problem. In addition, the GPS unit included is a top-of-the-line Taxan GPS receiver
