4. I am using a new USB GPS receiver and have it plugged in but CoPilot keeps saying "There is no GPS receiver attached. Please attach your receiver or select the Planning Mode option" but my GPS receiver is plugged in?
- The first time you use your receiver you will need to have the CoPilot 2002 Installation CD in the CD-ROM drive of your computer.
- The Add New Hardware Wizard should pop up when you plug in the USB GPS receiver, if not go to Start,Settings, Control Panel, Add New Hardware Wizard. Hit NEXT on the first screen.
- It will ask What do you want Windows to do? Select Search for the best driver...(recommended option).
- Next click on specify a location and click Browse.
- Next click your CD-ROM drive letter, USB Driver folder then click OK. The path should now be shown in the dialog box. Click Next to install the driver's for the hardware.
