1. When exiting CoPilot 2003 I receive the following error messages "Access violation at ........, read of address ........" how can I fix this?

This error message is caused when the Listening On feature is active during shutdown. This does not damage your computer in any way. You can ignore the error message and close the window(s). If you would like to shut off the Listening On feature please follow the instructions below.

  1. Open CoPilot 2003.
  2. Go to Planning Mode.
  3. Click on Edit, Preferences, Speech.
  4. Uncheck the box that say's "Listen for voice commands".
  5. Click on Close.
  6. Exit out of the CoPilot 2003 program.
  7. Open the CoPilot 2003 program again to see if you get the error message.

If you do not get the error message after turning off the Listening On feature there was a conflict with your Audio Card. If there is a conflict with your Audio Card you may want to acquire the latest drivers for it to resolve the problem. Unfortunately we do not have any patches for the speech software to fix this type of problem. We do not own the speech software so we can not alter it in any way.
