1. How can I uninstall my previous version of CoPilot and do I need to uninstall my previous version before installing CoPilot 2003?

You do not need to uninstall your previous version of CoPilot before installing CoPilot 2003. Both programs can reside on the same computer without conflicting.

NOTE: Before uninstalling CoPilot you may want to refer to FAQ 2 to copy your Trips, Custom Places and Favorites. Any added Custom Places in CoPilot 2001/2002 transferred to CoPilot 2003 will lose the phone number associated with it.

Please follow the instructions below to uninstall CoPilot

  1. Go to Start, Settings, Control Panel.
  2. Double click on Add\Remove Programs.
  3. Select the TravRoute CoPilot program in the list and click on "Remove."
  4. If asked to remove all "Shared" files during the uninstall process click on "No to All."

NOTE: Removing "Shared" files may result in Windows or other applications not functioning correctly. TravRoute is not responsible for loss of Windows system files during this process.
