CoPilot Truck | Laptop 11: FAQs

Installation and CD

  1. When I try to install CoPilot Truck | Laptop 11 it fails and I can't finish installing the program. How can I fix this?
  2. During the desktop installation of CoPilot I receive this error "Error -1607: Unable to Install InstallShield Scripting Runtime" .

Activation

Click here to activate CoPilot.

  1. Do I have to reactivate if I uninstall and reinstall to the same computer?
  2. When I try to open CoPilot Truck | Laptop 11, I get a message that's say's "License Record Not Found"

General

  1. When I try to open Copilot the icon shows in the task bar, but CoPilot never appears on the screen.
    Or
    When I try to open CoPilot I receive a message saying "CoPilot has encountered a problem and needs to close"

  1. Do I have to register CoPilot Truck | Laptop 11?
  2. How does registration benefit me?

GPS Receiver and Tracking

  1. Can I use a different GPS unit with the CoPilot Truck | Laptop 11?
  2. Can I use the Delorme Earthmate GPS receiver with CoPilot?
  3. What do each of the three LED lights indicate and what are the proper charging techniques for the Bluetooth GPS receiver?
  4. CoPilot will not recognize my USB JCOM GPS receiver? (To tell if you have a JCOM receiver, look at the bottom and you should see this number (19 CFR 134).
  5. When I open CoPilot using my Philips GPS receiver (GPS-CP101), it says "No GPS Signal, Please Check Connections".
  6. When I open Copilot I have to set up my GPS receiver every time.
