Q. Can I use the Delorme Earthmate GPS receiver with CoPilot?
A. Yes, Please follow the directions below.

1. Download the CoPilot Supported Earthmate drivers (Earthmate.exe) by
clicking
here.
2. Connect the USB Delorme Earthmate GPS receiver and wait 1 minute.
3. Locate and and run the Earthmate.exe file to install the drivers.
4. Once the drivers have been installed, you will see a black windows that
will say "Press Any Key to Continue" Press the Space Bar to complete
the installation.
5 . Verify the driver installation was successful by opening Device
Manager and clicking the “+” sign
next to Ports. If the installation was successful you will
see “Delorme Earthmate GPS COM device (COM7). *Note
– the COM port number may be different than COM7. Please make note
of the COM port number for step number 7.
6 . Open CoPilot, click on Options and select GPS

7 . Check to make sure the GPS COM Port is set to the COM
port number in step 5.
8 . You are now setup to use the Delorme GPS receiver and should be receiving
a GPS signal.
