Should I uninstall my previous version of CoPilot before installing
my CoPilot Truck | Laptop 9?
Yes but before you do you may want to copy your Saved Trips and Favorites
from your old version to the new version. To do so please follow the directions
below.
Tip: To Copy multiple files simultaneously
hold down the Ctrl button on the key board and Left click on each file
so they become highlighted. Once all files you want to copy are highlighted
Right click on one file then select Copy.
Trips and Favorites
- Double click on My Computer.
- Double click on C: drive.
- Double click on Program Files.
- Double click on CoPilot Truck.
- Double click on the Laptop3/Laptop4 folder.
- Double click on the NA folder
- Double click on the Save folder.
- Copy the following files:
- favorite.lst (this is your Favorites list)
- Any files that end with .trp (these are your saved trips)
- Now go back to C:\Program Files\CoPilot Truck\Laptop 9\NA.
- Double click on the Save folder.
- Now Paste the files you copied from the Laptop 3/Laptop 4 Save folder into
the CoPilot Truck | Laptop 9 Save folder. Right click anywhere in the
folder and select Paste.
Now all saved Trips and Favorites from CoPilot Laptop 3/Laptop 4 will be available
in
CoPilot Truck | Laptop 9.
