When I try to open CoPilot Live|Laptop 10, I get a message that's
say's "License Record Not Found"
The license file for CoPilot Live|Laptop 10 has become corrupt and needs
to be recreated.
- Open My Computer
- Browse to this folder C:\Program Files\CoPilot\Laptop9\App
- Look for and delete this file if it exists "cplaptop10.dat"
- Browse to this folder C:\Windows
- Look for and delete this file if it exists "cplaptop10.dat"
- Close My Computer
- Open CoPilot and you will be prompted to re-activate. After re-activation
CoPilot will open normally.
* Windows Vista Users If the License Record Not Found error keeps coming up even though Copilot was activated and the above steps to delete the license file were performed, please follow the steps below:
- Right click on the CoPilot Icon on the desktop and choose Properties
- Click on the Compatibility Tab at the top of the Properties windows
- Check the Box for "Run this program as an administrator"
- Click on Apply
- Click on OK
- Open CoPilot and reactivate *Note - If you still get the License Record Not Found error, then you may need to delete the license file one more time since the permissions were changed.
