Installation and CD

  1. Should I uninstall my previous version of CoPilot before installing my CoPilot Live Laptop 10?
  2. When I try to install CoPilot Live Laptop 10 it fails and I can't finish installing the program. How can I fix this?
  3. How can I uninstall my previous version of CoPilot?
  4. During the desktop installation of CoPilot I receive this error "Error -1607: Unable to Install InstallShield Scripting Runtime".
  5. How do I move my Favorites and Saved Trips from my previous version of CoPilot (2002, 2003, Laptop 7, Laptop 8 and Laptop 9) to Laptop 10?
  6. During the desktop installation of CoPilot I receive this error "could not copy SLABUN.EXE" followed by "Error Code: 0:"

Activation

Click here to activate CoPilot.

  1. Do I have to reactivate if I uninstall and reinstall to the same computer?
  2. When I try to open CoPilot Live|Laptop 10, I get a message that's say's "License Record Not Found"
  3. When I try to open the activate website (www.activate.alk.com) listed in the Quick Start Guide, it says "Page Not Found" or "The page cannot be displayed"

  1. Do I have to register CoPilot Live Laptop 10?
  2. How does registration benefit me?

Live

  1. I cannot login to CoPilot Live. I receive this message when I open Copilot "Account not found. Verify device connection info and web site account settings."

Trip Entry

  1. CoPilot Live Laptop 10 is only giving me driving directions form City to City? How do I get directions from one street address to another?
  2. When I try to find an address using a Zip Code CoPilot cannot find the address. What is wrong?
  3. CoPilot Live Laptop 10 does not contain a Zip code I'm looking for? How can I find the address if CoPilot cant find the Zip Code?
