How do I move my Favorites and Saved Trips from my previous version of CoPilot (2002, 2003, Laptop 7, Laptop 8 and Laptop 9) to Laptop 10?

Tip: To Copy multiple files simultaneously hold down the Ctrl button on the key board and Left click on each file so they become highlighted. Once all files you want to copy are highlighted Right click on one file then select Copy.

2002 and 2003 Users:

Trips and Favorites

  1. Double click on My Computer.
  2. Double click on C: drive.
  3. Double click on Program Files.
  4. Double click on TravRoute folder.
  5. Double click on the CP2002 or CP2003 folder.
  6. Double click on the Save folder.
  7. Copy the following files:
    • favorite.lst (this is your Favorites list)
    • Any files that end with .trp (these are your saved trips)
  8. Now go back to C:\Program Files\CoPilot\Laptop 10\NA.
  9. Double click on the Save folder.
  10. Now Paste the files you copied from the CP2002\2003 Save folder into the CoPilot Live Laptop 10 Save folder. Right click anywhere in the folder and select Paste.

    Now all saved Trips and Favorites from CoPilot 2002\2003 will be available in
    CoPilot Live Laptop 10.

Laptop 7 Users:

Trips and Favorites

  1. Double click on My Computer.
  2. Double click on C: drive.
  3. Double click on Program Files.
  4. Double click on CoPilot Live folder.
  5. Double click on the Laptop 7 folder.
  6. Double click on the NA folder.
  7. Double click in the Save folder.
  8. Copy the following files:
    • favorite.lst (this is your Favorites list)
    • Any files that end with .trp (these are your saved trips)
  9. Now go back to C:\Program Files\CoPilot\Laptop 10\NA.
  10. Double click on the Save folder.
  11. Now Paste the files you copied from the Laptop 7 Save folder into the CoPilot Live Laptop 10 Save folder. Right click anywhere in the folder and select Paste.

    Now all saved Trips and Favorites from Laptop 7 will be available in
    CoPilot Live Laptop 10.

Laptop 8 Users:

  10. Double click on the Save folder.
  11. Now Paste the files you copied from the Laptop 8 Save folder into the CoPilot Live Laptop 10 Save folder. Right click anywhere in the folder and select Paste.

    Now all saved Trips and Favorites from Laptop 8 will be available in
    CoPilot Live Laptop 10.

Laptop 9 Users:

Trips and Favorites

  1. Double click on My Computer.
  2. Double click on C: drive.
  3. Double click on Program Files.
  4. Double click on CoPilot folder.
  5. Double click on the Laptop 9 folder.
  6. Double click on the NA folder.
  7. Double click in the Save folder.
  8. Copy the following files:
    • Stophist.lst (this is your Favorites list)
    • Any files that end with .trp (these are your saved trips)
  9. Now go back to C:\Program Files\CoPilot\Laptop 10\NA.
  10. Double click on the Save folder.
  11. Now Paste the files you copied from the Laptop 9 Save folder into the CoPilot Live Laptop 10 Save folder. Right click anywhere in the folder and select Paste.
  12. Once the files have been copied, please locate and right click on the file named stophist.lst and rename it to favorite.lst

    Now all saved Trips and Favorites from Laptop 9 will be available in
    CoPilot Live Laptop 10.
