1. How do I change CoPilot's voice?

The easiest way to change the voice is to reinstall CoPilot.

Otherwise, follow these instructions to change the voice without reinstalling:

CoPilot Live | Laptop 7 users:

1. Close CoPilot.
2. Open Windows Explorer (Start menu > All Programs > Accessories > Windows Explorer).
3. Go to the folder C:\Program Files\CoPilot Live\Laptop7\App, assuming you installed CoPilot to your C: drive.
4. Right click on the file called language.cfg, and select “Open With…” > “Choose Program…”.
5. Choose to open the file with Notepad or WordPad.
6. Now that the file is open, you’ll see an entry that looks like this:
   [RelativeDirectories]
   "TTSDir"="[see the next step for what to type here]"
7. Change the text to match the speech voice you prefer, below. Again, this assumes you installed to your C: drive.
   a. US English- Male:
       "TTSDir"="C:\Program Files\CoPilot Live\Laptop7\Fonix\English\roger\cb112fff"
   b. US English- Female:
       "TTSDir"="C:\Program Files\CoPilot Live\Laptop7\Fonix\English\jessica\cb1126fd"
   c. UK English- Male:
       "TTSDir"="C:\Program Files\CoPilot Live\Laptop7\Fonix\mle01\ukenglish\roger132"
8. Save the file and close it.
9. The next time you open CoPilot you’ll hear the selected voice.
   

CoPilot Truck | Laptop 3 users:

Follow the same instructions for Laptop 7 with these parameters:

1. The file language.cfg will be in C:\Program Files\CoPilot Truck\Laptop3\App.
2. Change the text to match the speech voice you prefer:
   a. US English- Male:
       "TTSDir"="C:\Program Files\CoPilot Truck\Laptop3\Fonix\English\roger\cb112fff"
   b. US English- Female:
       "TTSDir"="C:\Program Files\CoPilot Truck\Laptop3\Fonix\English\jessica\cb1126fd"
