When I try to activate CoPilot, I receive the error "Invalid Activation
Code "
If you had a previous version of CoPilot installed, CoPilot 6 may be
trying to use the Product Key from the previous version. Please follow the
steps below and try activating again.
1. On your Pocket PC, tap Start->Settings->System tab->Remove
Programs
2. Locate and delete CoPilot and Pocket Speech
3. Once CoPilot is uninstalled, close Remove Programs and tap Start->Programs->File
Explorer
4. Browse to \My Device\Windows
5. Locate and delete the CoPilot 6 license file (cpppc6)
6. Browse to \My Device\Program Files
7. Locate and delete the CoPilot Pocket PC folder
8. Browse to \My Device\Storage Card
9. Locate and delete any CoPilot and 2577 folders
10. Perform a Soft Reset
11. Connect your Pocket PC to your desktop via ActiveSync
12. Insert your CoPilot Installation CD to start the install
13. When prompted to "Modify, Repair or Remove", choose the Modify
Option and click Next.
14. Enter your 25 digit product key found on the back of the QuickStart
Guide and click next.
15. On the next screen you will have the option to perform a Desktop and
or Pocket PC installation. Remove the check in the box for Desktop Installation
and click next to reinstall CoPilot you your Pocket PC
16. Once CoPilot has been reinstalled to the Pocket PC, open it will now
activate properly.
