2. When the Data Download Wizard is downloading data, I receive an Access Violation error or a message that says "The download has not completed. Please try downloading again."

One of the CoPilot files was not properly installed during installation.

  1. Closed CoPilot
  2. Click on the Start Menu and select Run.
  3. When the Run dialog box comes up, type in "CMD" and click ok. This will open a command prompt window.
  4. Type in this command "CD C:\program files\copilot\pocketpc5\app" and hit your enter key.
  5. Type in this command "regsvr32 alkxml.dll" and hit the enter key. This will register the CoPilot file with the system. If the file properly registered with the system, you will receive this message "DllRegisterServer in alkxml.dll succeeded". Click "ok" to acknowledge the message.
  6. Type in "exit" and hit the enter key to close the command prompt window.
  7. The Data Download Wizard will not work properly.
