The Evesham CoPilot Live patch fixes the following problems while
enhancing functionality with new and improved features:
Pocket PC Patch Description
General:
- Updates Pocket PC application files to version 5.0.1.61
Fixes:
- Detour is now active if a route is not run (eliminates spinning hour
glass)
- Improved Live Invitations.
- Fixes bug where POI information is not displayed when tapping on a POI
- Fixes bug that required Pocket PC to be soft reset after receiving "Data
CD not found..." error
- Fixes bug where distance units were incorrect after passing your destination
- Fixes bug where "Destination" custom display could not be
selected by tapping the cycling display in the Driver Safety Mode.
- Updated Traffic information
- Improved Live communications
Fixed for Europe Region Upgrade Users:
- Fixes conflict with Stop entry and London Congestion Zone warning

*Note - Installing this update patch may
disable your Text To Speech. If it is disabled, please follow the directions
below to re-enable it.
I. Uninstall the "disabled" Pocket Speech:
1. On your Pocket PC, tap on "Start --> Settings" and select
the "System" tab
2. Tap on "Remove Programs"
3. Select "Pocket Speech" and tap "Remove"
4. Soft Reset your Pocket PC
II. Install the desired speech option:
1. Connect your Pocket PC to your Desktop computer via ActiveSync®
2. On your Desktop computer, double-click on My Computer
3. Go to "C:\Program Files\CoPilot\PocketPC5\CEQStart\English"
4. Right click on the preferred voice options and copy the .cab file (TTSUS_M
for the Male voice and TTSUS_F for the female voice)
5. Open the Microsoft® ActiveSync® window
6. Click on Explore, go to the Edit menu and select paste to copy the
.cab file to the Pocket PC
7. On your Pocket PC, tap "Start --> Programs --> File Explorer"
8. Explore the "My Documents" folder and tap on the TTS file
to install Text To Speech.
