ALK|FleetSuite Directions: Updates &
Patches
The ALK|FleetSuite Directions Quarterly Data Update for the 2007 Q2 and Q3 datasets are now shipping! Both quarterly updates are combined on one CD-set for your convenience. Once you receive the CD-set, please update your installation to keep the routing data current.
The Quarterly Data Update files incorporate the following data enhancements:
- 245 updated U.S. counties with U.S. Census TIGER file information, including new road network files and street-addresses. These updates represent geographic regions covering over 13% of the U.S. population and these major urban areas:
- Boston , MA
- Westchester , NY
- Palm Beach , FL
- Dayton , OH
- Cleveland , OH
- Houston , TX
- San Antonio , TX
- Fort Collins , CO
- Santa Barbara , CA
- Salinas , CA
- Ventura , CA
- Tacoma , WA
- Repositioned and added roadways according to 88 new highway construction projects throughout the routing database
- Repositioned 350,000 miles of roadways to GPS standards
- Increased address geocoding matches based on feedback from various customer geocoding projects
