Please make sure that you download the patch for the product that you own and not one of the other patches. These patches are NOT interchangeable and the wrong patch will not work.

This patch will install a Pocket PC 2002-compatible version of Pocket CoPilot to your Pocket PC. You must be running Pocket PC 2002 on your device for this version of Pocket CoPilot to run correctly.
NOTE: Key information, such as favorite places and your current data set, will not be lost by uninstalling the software.

Step 1
This patch is to be used with Pocket CoPilot 2.0 only. Check to make sure you have Pocket CoPilot Version 2.0.13. Go to Edit --> Options --> About CoPilot. The version number is located in the lower right hand screen. If you see V 2.0.13, please proceed with the directions below.

If Pocket CoPilot is already installed on your Pocket PC, uninstall the previous version:

  1. On your Pocket PC, select Start/Settings/System/Remove Programs.
  2. Select Pocket CoPilot and click Remove.
Step 2
Make sure that your Pocket PC is connected to your desktop/laptop and synchronized with ActiveSync.
NOTE: Zip utilities (such as WinZip) might recognize the patch as a compressed file. DO NOT unzip the patch file.

Step 3
Download the patch named PocketCP2-PPC2002.arm.cab and save it to your Desktop.

Step 4
Copy the patch file and paste it into the "My Documents" folder on your Pocket PC.
  1. Right click on the file saved to your desktop and select Copy.
  2. Click on Explore in your ActiveSync window.
  3. Next double click on My Pocket PC.
  4. Next double click on My Documents.
  5. Next Right click in the folder then select Paste. The file should copy to your Pocket PC.
Step 5
Once the file has been copied down to your Pocket PC, disconnect your Pocket PC from your laptop/desktop.

Step 6
On your Pocket PC, go to Start/Programs/File Explorer.

Step 7
In the "My Documents" folder you will see the file names PocketCP2-PPC2002.arm.cab. Tap on this file once and it will install the PPC 2002-compatible version of Pocket CoPilot.
NOTE: Once the software has been installed the .cab file will automatically remove itself from your Pocket PC.
