1. When attempting to download map data using the Map Area feature Pocket CoPilot always asks me to redraw an area even though I already have. The Reported area is always 0 Mb no matter how large an area I draw using the mouse. How can I fix this?

  1. Exit Pocket CoPilot desktop application.
  2. Download and save the PCP30_MapAreaUpdate_3-1-15.zip file to your desktop.
  3. Locate the file on your desktop and double click on it.
    NOTE: You need Winzip or another unzipping utility to access the files.
  4. In the Winzip window click on the Extract button.
  5. In the Extract window below Folders/Drives click on the + sign next to your C: drive.
  6. Next click on the + sign next to Program Files.
  7. Next click on the + sign next to TravRoute
  8. Next click on the + sign next to PocketCP3.0
  9. Next click on the APP folder itself so it is highlighted in blue.
  10. Next click on the Extract button.
  11. In the Confirm File Overwrite window click on the button Yes to All.
  12. Launch Pocket CoPilot application from desktop icon and test the Map Area feature.
