3. When attempting to download data to either my device's main memory or my Compact Flash card Pocket CoPilot reports there's 0mb available for map data and I cannot download. What could be the cause for this? The Pocket CoPilot 3.0 software requires 24mb of available memory in order to download the data and the support files needed with the data. This 24mb of space is allocated for the data support files in order to run the program using highway data and the POI database and other necessary support files. If your Compact Flash card or device's main memory does not have 24mb of free space available, the Pocket CoPilot 3.0 program will report your available map memory as "0." If downloading to the device's main memory you need 24mb free under "Storage." Unfortunately due to the hardware restrictions with the Pocket PC even with a 32mb device you will run into a problem with available memory. We strongly recommend using a 64mb or larger flash card for data downloads in order to use Pocket CoPilot 3.0 on your Pocket PC without having to dedicate it to our program solely. | |
