5. When using Pocket CoPilot 3.0 I get the following error message "Get CGD, error reading CGD". How can I fix this?

  1. If you are receiving the error "Get CGD: error reading CGD" on your PC (Laptop or Desktop) please follow the instructions below:
    1. Double click on My Computer.
    2. Double click on your C; drive or the drive you installed the Pocket CoPilot data CD to.
    3. Double click on Program Files.
    4. Double click on the TravRoute folder.
    5. Locate the DataCD folder and Right click on it then select Delete.
    6. Next delete the DataCD folder from your Recycle Bin.
    7. Reinstall your data CD to your hard drive.
    8. Insert your data CD into your CD Rom.
    9. Double click on My Computer.
    10. Double click on your CD Rom drive.
    11. Double click on the Install folder.
    12. Double click on the setup.exe file (it looks like a computer with a box of disks in front).
    13. Next the installation wizard will guide you through the installation of your data CD to your hard drive.
  2. If you are receiving the error "Get CGD: error reading CGD" on your Pocket PC please follow the instructions below:
    1. Instructions if Data is located on Device Main memory: 1. Tap on Start, Programs, File Explorer, My Documents and select My Device. 2. Tap on Pocket CoPilot. 3. Tap and hold the Datacd folder and then select Delete. 4. Download your data again from scratch using the Data Download wizard.
    2. Instructions if Data is located on CF or SD card:
      1. Tap on Start, Programs, File Explorer, My Documents and select My Device.
      2. Tap on Storage Card.
      3. Tap on Pocket CoPilot.
      4. Tap and hold the Datacd folder and then select Delete.
      5. Download your data again from scratch using the Data Download wizard.
      6. When I insert my GPS jacket onto my ipaq I get the following error message "Unknown Card in socket2". How can I fix this.
