4. When attempting to open Pocket CoPilot 3.0 using the Y-cable GPS unit, the application freezes and will not open. If I unplug the GPS unit or disconnect the power adapter the application will open. Why does the application not open when the GPS unit is plugged in? The problem you are experiencing can be corrected very easily. The GPS unit you have has a 4-6 pin adapter connected to it. The Y-cable attaches to this adapter. You need to forcefully connect the Y-cable to the adapter and the adapter to the GPS unit. It may appear to be connected tightly but you really have to push hard. If the connections are not secure the contacts fail to make a connection causing the program to freeze when attempting to launch the application. Make sure there is no metal showing between the adapter and the GPS unit. | |||
