1. I'm using the Navman GPS jacket edition. I upgraded my Pocket PC to ROM version 2.20 and now I cannot check receiving and the GPS jacket option is grayed out. How can I fix this?
NOTE: You do not need to delete your map data. You do not need to uninstall Pocket Speech.
- Save the appropriate file to your Desktop.
- Speech Wav File Version - PCP_v3-1-20_Wave_NMGPS.arm2002.CAB
- Text-to-Speech Version - PCP_v3-1-20_TTS_NMGPS.arm2002.CAB
- To uninstall Pocket CoPilot please go to Start, Settings, System, Remove Programs.
- Select Pocket CoPilot from the list and then tap Remove.
Next reinstall Pocket CoPilot to your Pocket PC using one of the patches.
- Connect your Pocket PC to your computer via Activesync.
- Locate the file on your Desktop right click on it then select Copy.
- In the Activesync window click on the Explore button.
- Next double click on the My Pocket PC icon.
- Next double click on the My Documents folder.
- Next Right click anywhere in the My Documents window then click Paste. This will copy the patch file and save it to the "My Documents" folder on your Pocket PC. Once the file has been copied down to your Pocket PC, disconnect your Pocket PC from your laptop/desktop.
- On your Pocket PC, go to Start, Programs, File Explorer, My Device.
- Tap on the "My Documents" folder and you will see the file that you just copied over from your laptop/desktop. Tap on this file once and it will automatically install the updated version of Pocket CoPilot.
